Overview

Cecilia Dintino is a clinical psychologist who works with Columbia University's Intensive Outpatient Program. Dr. Dintino has developed and facilitates several supportive psychotherapy groups for individuals suffering from acute mood and anxiety disorders. In addition Dr. Dintino facilitates dialectical behavior therapy (DBT)skills training groups for individuals seeking help in managing emotional distress.

Dr. Dintino completed intensive training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and worked with Dr Barbara Stanley of Columbia University, as a research scientist and clinician treating individuals diagnosed with borderline personality disorder who engage in suicidal and self-injurious behaviors. Dr.

Dintino has a private practice in NYC. She works with a wide variety of clinical populations including: war veterans and new york city police officers suffering with post-traumatic stress disorder. In addition, Dr. Dintino is a registered drama therapist and has founded Drama Lab NYC, an improvisational performance group that fosters spontaneity and creative self-expression.
