Overview

Dr. Goldfein has been affiliated with the Eating Disorders Research Unit at NYS Psychiatric Institute since 1991. She has been involved in a variety of research studies for eating disorders, including eating behavior and treatment of patients with binge eating disorder and bulimia nervosa, and treatment of patients with anorexia nervosa.

She has developed and taught a course on cognitive behavioral therapy for eating disorders at the Center for the Study of Anorexia and Bulimia. Dr. Goldfein is an active member of the Academy for Eating Disorders.
