Nancy M. Bivens, MD, PhD
Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at CUMC
Dr. Nancy Bivens completed Adult Psychiatry residency and Schizophrenia Research Fellowship training at Columbia University and New York State Psychiatric Institute. She is now an Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry in the Division of Developmental Neuroscience, working on animal models of psychosis, as well as the intersection of human genetics with animal modeling of brain disorders.
She is the recipient of an NIMH funded Career Development Award, the NARSAD Brain Behavior Research Fund Young Investigator Award, and is a Leon Levy Investigator in Neuroscience Research.
