Stanley Bone, MD
Stanley Bone, M.D. is clinical professor of psychiatry at Columbia University. He is an associate director and training and supervising psychoanalyst at the Columbia University Center for Psychoanalytic Training and Research.
Dr. Bone earned his undergraduate degree from MIT in 1970, and received his medical degree from Mt. Sinai School of Medicine in 1974. He did his residency in psychiatry at the New York State Psychiatric Institute/Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center finishing in 1978. He completed psychoanalytic training at the Columbia University Center for Psychoanalytic Training and Research in 1984.
He is the recipient of a number of teaching awards. His interests are in general psychiatry, psychotherapy and psychoanalysis. He supervises on the Washington Heights Community Services Inpatient Unit and in long term psychotherapy and psychoanalysis.
